6th Antiracist Tournament Hamburg Sankt Pauli

The 6th Antiracist Tournament Hamburg Sankt Pauli was held at the FC St. Pauli training complex and was a fantastic experience. I arrived on the Friday evening, in time for one of the many workshops that was being held. Throughout the weekend, the tournament was from Friday to Sunday, the actual football took a back seat to the anti-fascism discussions and comradeship that was on display. Supporters groups from all over Europe were present, and I attended as part of the FC United of Manchester group.

After the St. Pauli v FC United game on the Saturday, there was a massive party at Knust. Everyone attending the Antira tournament was in attendance for beers, music and singing.

 

 

The football matches during the tournament were played in great spirits, with everyone sporting huge smiles. Beer flowed from morning until….the following morning, and the barbecue was never off. No pasaran.
